The purpose of this section of AHELP is to provide an online community the ability to support peer-to-peer networking and collaboration. It contains information on professionals working in the fields of prevention and health promotion, as well as a variety of list serves that pertain to health promotion and prevention efforts specific to Alaska. This database can be used to search for other professionals who are working on a similar topic of interest, or to seek out individuals who have expertise in a needed skill or specific focus area.
How do I add my information?
You can complete the on-line submission form to include your information in the database. You will be asked what topic areas you work in, what your skill and expertise areas are, and what type of geographical area you serve. You will also be asked for your name, title, organization, mailing address, telephone and email. When you have completed the form, you just click the submit button. Once it is reviewed by AHELP staff, it will be posted to the website. It’s that easy!
How do I update my information?
You can find your name through the search function. At the bottom of the page is a place to report changes. By clicking that, you will be able to go in and edit your information. Click the submit button on the bottom when you are done. It will be reviewed by AHELP staff before the changes are posted to the AHELP website, but this usually takes place within a week of your submission.
