Two Alaska-specific patient safety cards have been developed for DV/SV assessment and intervention. One is for girls and women, another for teens of any gender. Alaska Native Epidemiology Center staff with State partners provide training for healthcare providers and others (school staff, social service professionals, etc.) on the cards and this approach. The safety card approach provides universal education, reduces isolation, and provides options for safety.
